SPS 2019 in retrospect
Thank you very much for your visit!
This was SPS 2019
From 26 to 28 November, the "Who's Who" of the automation industry met at the SPS in Nuremberg. On an area of 135,500 m², 1,585 companies presented new trends, innovations, and solutions for the industry to a total of 63,708 visitors.
KEBA had a special highlight to offer this year: KEBA announced its merger with LTI Motion at the SPS in Nuremberg in 2018. In 2019, the first joint appearance at the KEBA stand offered visitors a complete automation product portfolio. With the integration of the entire range of drive technology from LTI Motion, the technology expert from Austria is currently the most compact fullliner in automation technology.
Under the motto "One Partner for Your Digital Journey", KEBA demonstrated the forward-looking advantages that its in-house modular and scalable automation platform has to offer on the journey towards Industry 4.0. By relying on a system that supports different technologies ten years ago, KEBA is now showing a clear lead on the path to digital transformation. In addition, there is the comprehensive, industry-specific experience from which users of KEBA technology benefit today.
At the KEBA trade fair stand, it was shown, among other things, how it is possible to evaluate, on the basis of drive data, the condition of motors and transmissions, for example - without any additional sensors.
New business models in the service area can thus be considered - without great additional technical effort. This resulted in exciting discussions with outstanding experts in a unique atmosphere. The latest development in the KeTop T15x safe wireless and KeWheel mobile operating devices also provided great feedback and amazement when trying them out.
The automation expert from Austria is convinced: "Machine builders have to think bigger to differentiate themselves. Upstream and downstream processes, IT integration, development processes, and new predictive models for machines will be a crucial factor for this in the future.”
We would like to thank you for your visit and look forward to next year when the SPS opens its doors and we can welcome you at SPS 2020 – and for us, it will be a special date: Our 30th appearance at SPS.
